This is a two colour linocut poster I made for the ArktiskMat symposium in 2023. I also made a little vignette linocut that was used on ticketsale, flyers and menus. 25 of the original linocut prints of the poster was gifted to the speakers and contributors at the symposium.

2023s theme was “The Ocean”.

This is a series of prints I made following an Artist Residency at the medieval monastery ruins at Tautra and Munkeby in Norway.

This was one of those rare instances where I was handed an amazing opportunity on a silver platter. In 2020 I was approached by The National Trust of Norway, they were looking for a visual artist to stay at their historic properties the following summer, and of course I accepted.

I stayed a combined two weeks between the Tautra - and Munkeby monastery ruins, sketching, walking and absorbing the history and myths around these ancient places. In the following months I produced a series of ten linocut and collagraph works based on my experience and knowledge after staying at these ruins. This resulted in an exhibition at Klostergården on Tautra and later at Rosendal Theater in Trondheim.

Every year Aldring og Helse in Norway awards selected people who works in dementia care through “Huskeprisen”. In 2020 I was hired to make the artwork to go with this award.

I was commissioned by SKOLO (skolo.no) to make a linocut-poster with motives inspired by the middle-west coast of Norway. The challenge was to make it in a way so that it would be possible to extract small sections of the poster to be used on a variety of products. As a solution to this I decided to part the poster into a number of little squares of varied sizes which each contain its own small portion of the idyllic life on the coast of Norway.

To this date a series of tin boxes, tote bags and a deck of cards has been released.

A selection of linocut pet portraits made on commission.

I designed and carved this trio of stamps for Fretex to be used on gift tags made from recycled book covers.

Fretex is Norways biggest second-hand franchise with a huge focus on inclusion, giving work to people who otherwise might struggle in the ordinary work market.

This was my Final Major Project at Southampton Solent University in 2016. In this concertina book I've used a mix of collagraphs and screen-printing, addressing the damage we are causing the natural habitat, and the creatures unfortunate enough to share this world with us.
